Your region
Bring the Wave to your town
Three regions have a Wave today. The next one is chosen by who asks, so tell us where it belongs, and what the local news there is missing.
What a new region gets
The whole publication, on day one
Because every Wave is built from one codebase, a new region does not start as a blog and grow up. It opens with the newsroom, the calendar, the places directory and the apps already in place, and its own domain and inbox.
- Its own newsroom writing about that region and nowhere else
- Town pages for the places people actually live
- A calendar residents and organizers can submit to
- Free apps on the App Store and Google Play
- Local advertising from the businesses that serve it, which is what keeps it free
Today: Long Island Wave, Gold Coast Wave, New York City Wave.
