Privacy Policy
Wave Locals is a small site with one form. This is what it collects and what it does with it. Last updated November 7, 2026.
Who we are
Wave Locals (wavelocals.com) is published by Wave Agency, 200 Broadhollow Rd, Suite 207, Melville, NY 11747. Each Wave publication (Long Island Wave, Gold Coast Wave, New York City Wave) has its own privacy policy on its own site, which governs what you do there.
What this site collects
Reading Wave Locals requires no account and sets no tracking cookies. The site remembers your light or dark theme choice in your own browser, and nothing else.
When you send a message through a form (advertising, your region, contact), we store what you typed: your name, email, phone and organization if given, the publication and place you named, and your message, with the time it was sent and a hashed form of your network address used only to limit abuse. The message is emailed to the Wave Agency team so a person can reply.
How it is used
To answer you, to plan advertising or a new region if that is what you asked about, and for nothing else. We do not sell or rent it, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you wrote to us.
Where it lives
The site and its database run on Cloudflare in the United States. Form submissions are kept until they are no longer needed to answer you or to plan the network, and you may ask us to delete yours at any time.

Stories on this site open on the publication that wrote them, and the app badges open the App Store and Google Play. Each has its own privacy policy.
